Grainfield man killed in crash in Sheridan County

SHERIDAN COUNTY, Kansas – The Kansas Highway Patrol says one man was killed in a crash Tuesday morning.

It happened in rural Sheridan County just after midnight.

According to the patrol, a 2006 Ford F150 driven by 22-year-old Dal Brean Schultz of Grainfield was heading northbound on 30 West Road.

The truck hit a left embankment, overturned multiple times, and landed on driver’s side.

Shultz was pronounced dead on the scene.

Three others in the truck were transported to Sheridan County Health Complex.

All four occupants of the truck were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
