17 storage units burglarized in Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are investigating a series of storage unit break-ins.

Seventeen storage units in the 1400 block of South Tyler were burglarized sometime before 10 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the suspect made entry through the north side of the property by cutting through a strike plate with screws and a saw to enter the unit.

The losses are being calculated and an estimate amount of the losses was not available at the time.

There were no arrests made and no suspects have been identified at this time, and video surveillance is being investigated.
