WICHITA, Kansas – A Sedgwick County judge sentenced Galen Faggitt, 50 of Wichita, to 34 months in prison for multiple burglaries to Wichita area Rent-A-Center stores.

The burglaries involved Rent-A-Center stores at 2515 S. Seneca and 225 E. 47th St. South. Both break-ins occurred in September of 2013 and caused a total loss of $3,500 in property damage and lost merchandise. Faggitt has five prior burglary convictions.

Faggitt was identified through DNA testing of blood left at the Seneca burglary scene on September 15, 2013. In the other case, Faggitt was seen coming out of a broken store window at the 47th Street location on September 18, 2013. The burglaries were investigated by the Wichita Police Department.

At the same time last Thursday, Faggitt was sentenced by Judge Richard Ballinger for two domestic violence incidents that occurred in 2013 and 2014.
