Corpse flower bloom 2014

Corpse Flower

WINFIELD, Kansas – A unique flower is blooming at Southwestern College in Winfield.

The titan arum (Amorphophallus titanum), also known as the corpse flower, produces one of the largest flowering structures and one of the foulest odors in the plant kingdom.

While you won’t be able to smell it, the college has a live feed of the bloom on YouTube.
