WICHITA, Kansas – The Wichita Public Schools is offering online enrollment as a convenient option for returning students, allowing parents to complete standard enrollment forms, approve policies, complete waivers, pay for enrollment fees and school meals, and fill out free and reduced price lunch forms from a computer, tablet or smart phone.

The online access will be available Monday, July 14.

Parents will need a ParentVUE account for their child/children in order to enroll online. New parents or parents who do not have a ParentVUE account can go to www.enroll.usd259.org to print off and complete common enrollment forms and return them to their child’s school during enrollment week.

In-person enrollment is July 25 – July 31.

Besides enrolling, parents and students will receive school-specific information, including school supplies, class schedules and locker assignments, plus take photos for student IDs or pay latchkey fees. Parents who don’t have a ParentVUE account can have one created during that time.

The Wichita Public Schools will have consistent enrollment times at all schools to make it more convenient for parents who enroll multiple children at different schools. The enrollment times are:

  • Friday, July 25: 9a.m. – 3p.m.
  • Monday, July 28: 9a.m. – 3p.m
  • Tuesday, July 29: Noon – 7p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 30: Noon – 7p.m.
  • Thursday, July 31: Noon – 7p.m.

The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, August 12.

Students entering 6th and 9th grade will have a half-day orientation on August 11.

Enrollment information is available at www.enroll.usd259.org. Parents can find information about online enrollment, school supplies, immunizations, fees and other enrollment-related items.
