Lightning likely cause of early morning fire

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita fire crews are working to figure out whether lightning caused a house fire Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the scene at the 800 block of South Seneca around 2:30 a.m.

It took crews over an hour to get the flames out.

They aren’t sure if lightning was the cause, but the fire did start in the upper floors.

No one inside the home was hurt.
