New farming drone demos at 3i show

DODGE CITY, Kansas – Kansas farmers are getting a taste of the future, with BTI AgSolutions leading the way with drone technology that assist farmers.

Drones can be used to scout fields, check fertilizer tank levels, or look for livestock from a remote location.

“Farmers will be able to stop at the road and fly out to there the livestock are, or if they’re looking for a baby calf they can’t see from the ground,” said Kent Kirk from BTI AgSolutions.

Drone demonstrations will be held every hour, on the hour on the northeast corner of the lot at the 3i show in Dodge City.
