Kids raise money to buy tombstone for parents

LUNA PIER, Michigan (WDIV) – There’s a very special stand raising money for a worthy cause this year at Luna Pier’s annual city garage sale.

Three children are hard at work selling water, cookies, chips, and sloppy joes.

They are trying to raise money to buy a tombstone for their parents.

In 2011, their dad died in a car accident.

Just this year they lost their mother as well.

Currently, they are living with their grandparents and money is tight, so that is what the 9 year old Haley the idea.
