Steakhouse Salad

Today’s recipe comes from Logan’s Roadhouse. Drew Sell is the Guest Chef and Regional Culinary Expert.

Steakhouse Salad

Fill bowl with lettuce mix. Fill ingredients left to right.

4 cups lettuce mix (A blend of Iceburg, Romaine, and Arcadia Mix)
2 oz. croutons
2 oz. diced tomatoes
6 oz. seasoned grilled steak skewer, cubed to one inch
2 oz. diced eggs
2 oz. chopped bacon
1/2 diced fresh avocado

Grill seasoning for steaks

Equal parts of:
Black pepper
Garlic salt

Red Wine Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
Yields 3 quarts.

1 oz. lemon juice
12 oz. red wine vinegar
1 Tblsp. garlic salt
1 Tblsp. black pepper
1 oz. chopped garlic
4 oz. mayonnaise
6 oz. dijon mustard
4 oz. honey
36 oz. olive oil

  1. Add lemon juice, red wine vinegar, garlic salt, pepper, and chopped garlic into a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly with wire wisk.
  2. Add mayonnaise, dijon, and honey. Mix thoroughly with wire wisk.
  3. Slowly add olive oil, while continually whisking
  4. Whisk until well blended
