Dr. Condoleezza Rice will headline Chamber’s Annual Meeting

WICHITA, Kansas – The Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce has announced that a former United States Secretary of State will be the featured guest speaker at their Annual Meeting on Dec. 4, 2014.

Dr. Condoleezza Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State of the United States.

She was the second woman and first African American woman to hold that post.

Chamber Chairman Wayne Chambers is pleased that the Chamber can provide the community an opportunity to hear an internationally recognized speaker.

“A well-educated workforce drives economic development and Dr. Rice is well-known for her expertise and passion for education. We’re very focused on helping area businesses increase their expertise in exporting and we believe we can also benefit from her global perspective,” said Chambers.

The chamber banquet will be at Century II from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are $115 each for dinner and reserved seating. Tickets are also available for those who only wish to hear the program and range from $35-$55. Tickets may be ordered online at www.wichitachamber.org/AnnualMeeting.
