Wichita has the third wettest June on record

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita has the third wettest June on record.

For the month, Wichita recorded just 10.46 inches according to the National Weather Service.

It tied the record for 1957.

In 1923, Wichita recorded 14.43 inches of rain in June for the wettest ever. Five years later, 12.11 inches fell during the month of June.
