Wichita man expected to survive after being stabbed 16 times

WICHITA, Kansas – A Wichita man is expected to survive after being stabbed 16 times Sunday morning

Wichita police found the man on the 1600 hundred block of South Old Manor on the city’s southeast side, bleeding from those stab wounds.

The 28-year-old victim says he was hit on the head with a bottle by a group of unknown suspects, causing him to pass out.

The victim was taken to Wesley Hospital in stable condition.

Police followed a trail of blood to find where the crime first occurred.

No one has been arrested.
