Caught On Cam: Cop Car Attack

DALTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who was apparently on drugs jumped onto the windshield of a sheriff’s department cruiser Sunday, authorities say.

Muskegon County sheriff’s deputies responded around 11 p.m. to a report of a person with a metal pipe near a home in the area of Blue Lake and Duff roads, northeast of Twin Lakes, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities say Calquan Barr then jumped onto the windshield of a police cruiser, cracking it. At the time, he said he was from a planet called Zoltron, the sheriff’s department said.

The incident was caught on dashcam.

Barr, 20, of Twin Lake was arrested at the scene and charged with felonious assault against a police officer and larceny.

The sheriff’s office said he was on some sort of mind-altering drug.
