MANHATTAN, Kansas – Local prep football standout Denzel Goolsby committed to play for K-State on Wednesday. The running back out of Bishop Carroll had offers from several schools including KU and Iowa State, but opted to go with the Wildcats.
Besides playing running back, the 5-foot-11 senior also returns kicks and plays slot receiver. He’s one of only six known members of K-State’s 2015 recruiting class.
Goolsby reportedly visited Lawrence on Tuesday and Manhattan on Wednesday. He announced his decision to play for the Wildcats on twitter.
