Victim in Nebraska tornado identified

PILGER, Nebraska (NBC News) – Volunteers are expected to pour into the tiny community of Pilger, Nebraska Wednesday for a massive cleanup operation following Monday’s devastating tornadoes.

Roughly three-quarters of the town was completely destroyed when twin tornadoes ripped through.

Two people were killed, one of them 5-year-old girl Calista Dixon.

She was in her families’ mobile home with her mother when the tornado hit. Her mother remains in critical condition with severe head trauma.
