Quake in the forecast

TULSA, Oklahoma (KJRH/NBC News) – Three early morning earthquakes shook Oklahoma Monday, the biggest a 4.2-magnitude that struck about 9 miles southeast of Edmond at 5:47 a.m.

That temblor interrupted the newscast and meteorologist George Flickinger’s weather forecast on NBC affiliate KJRH.

A 3.5 quake hit the same area at 5:31 a.m., according to the USGS, and a 3.0 was recorded at 6:25 a.m.

No damage or injuries were reported.
