Storm blows over semi, damages buildings northwest Kansas

OAKLEY, Kansas – The Thomas County Emergency Manager reports a storm damaged several buildings at 9:17 Saturday.

The reports show damage to the J.J. Oil building and Colonial Steakhouse in Oakley.

Several reports of broken windows have been reported. Several people were injured from the broken glass.

Two semitrailers were blown over on I-70. One at mile marker 111, the other at mile marker 113. Three people were transported to Gove County Medical Center.
