Kansas Special Olympians heading to New Jersey

WICHITA, Kansas – Special Olympians who qualified for the national Special Olympics competition are heading to Trenton, New Jersey.

The state wide summer games happened in Wichita last weekend and about 700 of those participants will now compete at the national event.

About 3,500 athletes are in Trenton for the games that begin Saturday and run through next weekend.
