Beloit woman dies in crash

SALINA, Kansas – A Beloit woman died Friday after hitting a trailer being towed by another truck.

Investigators say the victim was driving a pickup truck when she crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.

Police say 93-year-old Lola Hillman of Beloit was driving west on U.S. 24 Friday afternoon about 1:00 when her car hit the trailer. The driver of the second pickup truck was not hurt.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol the victim was taken to Salina Regional Health Center, where she died.
