Kansas City (KSHB) — A Good Samaritan rushed to rescue a kitten thrown out of a moving car on Interstate 70 near Kansas City on Friday.

Robert Ramberger was driving down I-70 when he saw someone in a car ahead of him throw two kittens out.

“I think they were opening their door and throwing them under the car. He took a rough ride, the a car was going like 75 mph when he threw the little guy out,” said Ramberger.

Ramberger pulled over onto the shoulder, got out of his car and went into oncoming traffic to try to save the kittens. He managed to save one and rushed it to the Greater Humane Society of Kansas City.
