WICHITA, Kansas – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office has concluded its participation in the “CLICK IT OR TICKET” campaign.

The campaign ran for two weeks consisting of saturation patrols which enforced occupant safety, impaired driving and other traffic laws.

Deputies wrote 440 adult safety belt citations, eight teen safety belt citations, 12 child restraint citations and 184 other citations for various traffic violations. A total of 525 traffic stops were made.

While the “CLICK IT OR TICKET” campaign may be over, the enforcement is not.

The sheriff’s office will continue to ensure that the roads in Sedgwick County are as safe.

The “CLICK IT OR TICKET” campaign was supported by a grant to Sedgwick County from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
