Nurse charged with mistreating resident may lose license

ANDOVER, Kansas – A nurse charged with mistreating a resident may lose his license

Geofrey Nyangweso used to work for Victoria Falls Home in Andover.

The state fined the home thousands of dollars over alleged patient abuse, and the nurse was let go.

On Tuesday, the Kansas Board of Nursing began the process of revoking Nyangweso’s license.

It continues in July.

He’s also going through the court system on a charge of mistreating a dependent adult.
