Quick-Thinking Teen Saves Friend

(WXIA) The quick-thinking actions of a 16-year-old Jasper, Georgia girl may have saved her friend’s life.

Grace Henerey says she didn’t have to think about it — when her 12-year-old neighbor Grayson fell off her bike last week and started having a seizure, instinct took over.

“She wasn’t breathing, and she wasn’t blinking, and her lips started to turn blue,” she said.

Grace never had any formal CPR training, but her mom taught her what to do years ago when she wanted to start babysitting.

“She just sprung in to action. Took off her shirt, put it under her head, put pressure on the wound,” Marcea Henery said.
