Riverfest buttons now on sale

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita Festivals, Inc. kicked off button sales for Riverfest 2014 today at QuikTrip, 750 S. Broadway.

The button, featuring the iconic Riverfest 2014 artwork, serves as the admission ticket to nine days of festival fun.

Riverfest, set for May 30 through June 7, will again offer two types of buttons: a $5 adult button and a $3 child button for kids ages 6 to 12.

Children 5 years and younger are admitted to the festival free of charge.

This year’s button will serve as your ticket to all Riverfest concerts including the Koch Industries Twilight Pops, Ad Astra concert with Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Coleman Country Concert with Jerrod Niemann, Wet & Wild Dance Party with legendary DJ Grandmaster Flash, Gospelfest starring Tamela Mann, The Romantics, Kelley Hunt, Moe Bandy, the Indie and Red Dirt Country showcases and Spirit AeroSystems Rockin’ on the River featuring Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg with Andrew W.K.

In addition to nine days of festival fun, Riverfest 2014 buttons also come with a number of perks and discounts, including free admission to Ribfest 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 at Intrust Bank Arena and $5-off $20 tickets to Aug. 9-10 Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus performances at Intrust Bank Arena.

A number of area museums and attractions – including Botanica, Exploration Place, Kansas African American Museum, Kansas Aviation Museum, Mid-America All-Indian Center, Old Cowtown Museum, Sedgwick County Zoo, Wichita Art Museum and the Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum offer special pricing to attendees wearing a Riverfest button.

Riverfest buttons are available at major button retail locations – AAA, Dillons, and QuikTrip – now through June 7.
