Seattle TV station calls OKC Thunder ‘Former Sonics’

SEATTLE, Washington – Some NBA fans in Seattle are still upset about losing their team.

A Seattle TV station, KIRO 7, took it further in a Facebook post.

The station says it promises it won’t say OKC or their team name in the newscasts.

Instead, it titled the team the “Former Sonics”.

Oklahoma City welcomed the Thunder in 2008.
