Police investigating drive-by shooting near WSU

WICHITA, Kan. — The Wichita Police Department responded to a reported drive-by shooting at 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning in the 1100 block of North Green Street.

Police discovered that 17 rounds hit the house but do not currently have a suspect or vehicle information.

The house had six people inside at the time of the shooting including three children from 3 to 8 years old.

All were asleep before the incident and none were injured. The woke hearing the gunshots and hearing round striking the home.
