Gillaspie homers twice in WSU’s win over Bradley

WICHITA, KS – WSU slugger Casey Gillaspie homered twice to lead the Shockers past Bradley 7-0 on Saturday.

The junior went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Daniel Kihle closed out 2-for-4 with a double and Tanner Dearman finished 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Cale Elam threw eight shutout innings and got the win to improve his record to 6-1 on the season.

Going for the sweep, the Shockers will host the Braves in the final game of the series on Sunday at Eck Stadium at 1:00 p.m.
