Shockers win opener with Bradley in 10 innings

WICHITA, KS – With the game on the line, WSU’s Tanner Dearman hit an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead the Wichita State baseball team to a 4-3 win over Bradley on Friday night.

Early on, Tyler Baker provided most of the offense going 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and two RBIs. Casey Gillaspie finished 2-for-3 with a double and two walks.

Tied up at three, Baker led off the bottom of the 10th nailing a double down the right field line. Dearman came up later in the inning and singled to right scoring Baker and giving the Shocks the victory.
