33 drivers cited for speeding on Kellogg

WICHITA, Kansas – The Wichita Police Department conducted a special traffic assignment on Thursday.

It happened on Kellogg and Oliver around 1 p.m.

In an effort to slow drivers down, the department wrote 33 speeding citations.

The highest speed recorded was 81 mph in a 60 mph zone.

Police say the average speed people were driving was 72 mph.
