Gun pulled on JCPenney loss prevention officer

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police say a gun was pulled on a JCPenney a loss prevention officer.

It happened Wednesday afternoon in the 7700 block of East Kellogg at Towne East Square.

A loss prevention officer in the store tried to stop a woman and man for stealing men’s clothing

A third suspect walked up and pulled a gun and threatened loss prevention officer.

The officer wasn’t armed.

All three suspects fled the scene in a small maroon vehicle.

No injuries were reported, and a police report indicated the property was recovered.
