WICHITA, Kansas – East High was named the No. 1 Best High School in Kansas by U.S. News and World Report.

Students at East High have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at East High School is 39 percent.

The student body makeup is 49 percent male and 51 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 67 percent.

East High School is 1 of 13 high schools in the Wichita Public Schools.
