Police looking for robbery suspect who fired two shots

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita police are searching for a robbery suspect who fired two shots at employees of a business.

It happened Monday around 8:20 p.m. at the Family Express in the 1200 block of East Pawnee.

The manager told police that a black man entered the store, pointed a handgun and demanded money.

The manager refused to give him money, and the suspect fired two shots.

Another employee was inside the store.

That employee wasn’t hurt.

Police say the suspect is 20 to 30 years old. He is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and was wearing all black clothing.
