Five DUI arrests made in Saturday patrol

WICHITA, Kansas – The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office conducted a DUI saturation patrol from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday.

During this time, five adults were arrested for DUI, one adult was arrested for a driver’s license violation, one felony warrant was cleared, 25 misdemeanor citations were issued, and 14 infraction citations were issued.

The operation consisted of one sergeant, four deputies and one reserve deputy.

It was funded by a Kansas Department of Transportation grant.
