Crash kills 2 in western Kansas

HAYS, Kan. (AP) — Two people have been killed in a two-vehicle crash in western Kansas.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that 40-year-old Jesse Pfannenstiel of Woodston, and 26-year-old Justin Kennedy of Greensburg, died in the crash. The patrol says the crash occurred Friday night when the vehicles they were in collided at an intersection in rural Ellis County.

The patrol says the victims were wearing seatbelts.
