WICHITA, Kansas – A Wichita man has received two consecutive life without parole sentences for sexual crimes against a 14-year-old girl.

On Friday, Sedgwick County District Judge Bruce Brown sentenced Gerrian Green, 32, for criminal sodomy and sexual exploitation of a child.

The crimes occurred last June when the child was visiting Green’s residence in southeast Wichita.

Green, a documented gang member, was convicted for criminal possession of a firearm in 2000, aggravated battery in 2005 and aggravated intimidation of a witness and two counts of attempted aggravated indecent solicitation of a child in 2008.

The victim in the 2008 case was an unrelated 12-year-old girl who also testified during the recent trial.

At the time of the crimes last June, Green was on parole through the State of Kansas and was a registered sex offender.
