WSU Shockers Baseball Logo 16:9
On Tuesday night, Daniel Kihle went a perfect 4-for-4 and had two RBIs including the go ahead RBI double as Wichita State beat Oral Roberts 6-5.  Ray Ashford earned the win for the Shockers striking out the first three in three innings of work.
WSU managed to dodge a bullet in the seventh.  With runners on first and second with nobody out, Shocker reliever Drew Palmer got the Golden Eagles to ground into a 6-4-3 double play and Baker caught Tyler Boss attempting to steal to end the inning.  Oral Roberts still scored one run to get within 6-5.
In the end, the Shockers were able to hang on to win to get their second straight victory.
