TOPEKA, Kansas – Two people from Topeka were both killed in a head-on crash Friday night.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Emma Jo Pisocki and her father, 41-year-old Jason Pisocki, both from Topeka, were killed when their car hit a pick-up truck.

It happened just west of Bennington.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a vehicle was parked on the edge of a road partially in one lane of traffic.

The truck went into the other lane to get around the parked car and it struck Pisocki’s vehicle.

The driver of the truck, 35-year-old Jason Jeardoe, was taken to a Salina hospital.
