GREAT BEND, Kansas – There is a lot of demonstrations at the Great Bend Farm and Ranch Expo.
It includes something for the cowboys and cowgirls.
Three times a day, horse trainer Scott Daily takes a horse that has never had a saddle on before, and within an hour, ends up riding the horse.
This event has been drawing a huge crowd.
“Actually, I showed up, and I seen the horse, and I was like boop straight towards it, so I’ve been here almost all day right here,” said Brittani Grubb, Hoisington.
Also, people are out looking at tables of products.
From boutique wear to homemade salsa and locally produced honey, there is a lot of products for people to see.
Even for those that aren’t in the farm and ranch business, those that attend know that it is shows like the Expo that help keep food on every table across the country.
“We live in Kansas, and we’re real fortunate that our viewers and population is aware that the farming and ranching is our backbone of America,” said Darren Dale, Great Bend Farm and Ranch Expo organizer.
You can check out these demonstrations and product through Friday at the Expo.
