Oklahoma earthquake felt in Kansas Saturday morning

WICHITA, Kan. — Parts of Kansas felt the tremors from an earthquake Saturday morning that originated from Oklahoma.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8 and was located near Crescent, Oklahoma which is about 35 miles north of Oklahoma City.

The quake occurred around 7:42 a.m. Saturday and was reported to be felt by residents as far away as Wichita and Tulsa.

The earthquake was originally reported as being a magnitude of 4.2.
