MBB: Marshall named UPS NABC Division I Coach of the Year

DALLAS, Texas – Wichita State men’s basketball head coach Gregg Marshall was named the 2014 UPS National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I Coach of the Year, the NABC announced on Wednesday.

He will receive the award on Sunday, April 6, at the annual AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show at The Music Hall at Fair Park, beginning at 6 p.m. CDT.

This is Marshall’s fourth postseason coaching honor.

He was also named the 2014 United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) District VI Coach of the Year, the 2014 Henry Iba Coach of the Year and the 2014 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Coach of the Year.
