WSU’s Early named Wooden All-American

WICHITA, Kansas – Wichita State’s Cleanthony Early receives one of college basketball’s highest honors this week.

Helping lead the Shockers to a 35-1 record, Early was named to the John Wooden All-American team.

Early averaged 16 points and six rebounds per game.

He also shot 84 percent from the free throw line.

This marks Early’s eighth postseason award.

KU’s Andrew Wiggins joins Early on the Wooden All-American team, making the prestigious Top 10.
