Golf fees going up in Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas – Green fees are going up in Wichita.

On Tuesday, the Wichita City Council voted unanimously to raise prices on three city course: Tex Consolver, MacDonald, and Sim.

Fees there will climb $1 a round, but there will be no hike for senior and junior golfers.

Fees at Auburn Hills and Clapp are not affected.

In addition, cart fees for 18-holes will increase a $1.40 per round.

It’s estimated the increase will generate $170,000 annually for maintenance and equipment.
