KHP Trooper Brame has been released from the hospital

WICHITA, Kansas — Kansas Highway Patrol Master Trooper, Davon Brame, was released from the hospital late Friday evening.

Media Relations with the Kansas Turnpike Authority released the information but stated they do not have a timetable for when Brame will be able to return to work.

The trooper was injured Tuesday, March 25th while making a routine traffic stop along I-35. While in his parking vehicle behind a semi-truck, the trooper’s patrol car was struck from behind by a pickup and sent forward into the back of the semi. No other injuries occurred during the accident.

Brame was taking to the hospital in extremely critical condition Tuesday.
