Victim in suspicious death ID’d as McPherson man

MCPHERSON, Kansas – McPherson police have identified the man who was found Thursday morning.

It happened just before 7:30 a.m. in the 400 block of West Woodside.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Ernest Charles Miller of McPherson.

Police say the cause of death was asphyxia and blunt force trauma.

They are waiting for a toxicology report.

The case is still under investigation.
