WICHITA, Kansas – The Kansas Senate on Tuesday approved the Safe Haven bill that would protect a mother’s identity.

The Senate voted unanimously to pass the law after adding a couple of locations that would be considered a Safe Haven to leave a child.

Now, the bill will go back to the House to approve those changes before it heads to Governor Sam Brownback’s desk for approval.
