Shockers heading to NCAA tournament

WICHITA, Kansas – The Wichita State Men’s Basketball team is heading back to St. Louis.

This time it is for the NCAA tournament.

On Wednesday, the team boarded a bus where they will head to the airport for a flight to St. Louis.

“It is exciting. We are ready. We had a couple of good days of practice. We have been waiting on this for 10 days,” said Coach Gregg Marshall.

Two weeks ago, the Shockers won the MVC tournament in St. Louis.

They are now 34-0.

They will face the winner of Cal Poly or Texas Southern game tonight on Friday evening.
