WICHITA, Kansas – Two minor earthquakes were reported early Wednesday morning.
They occurred in Harper County.
The first earthquake was eight miles northeast of Anthony. It happened around 3:50 a.m.
The earthquake measured 3.4 on the Richer scale according the U.S. Geological Survey.
No damage was reported.
The second quake was reported at 6:47 a.m. 11 miles southeast of Harper.
The earthquake measured 2.7 on the Richer scale according the U.S. Geological Survey.
Last month, a 3.9 earthquake struck northwest of Caldwell in Sumner County.
It was felt in Haysville, Derby and Ark City.
In December, an earthquake struck the same area.
