Haysville police investigating vandalism

HAYSVILLE, Kansas – Haysville police are investigating some vandalism at a local middle school.

School officials say March 6th a parent drove on the lawn of Haysville West Middle School causing some visible damage to the property.

The driver also knocked down a traffic sign at the entrance to the school.

Officials with USD 261 tell KSN they are assessing the damage with a lawn company, and that time, they will determine the next best course of action.

Police are investigating the incident and say they are considering charges at this time.
