Winter returns to Kansas

KSN Blob City march (1)

Winter makes a return to Kansas early Saturday morning, just ahead of a nice spring-like warm up.

The first round dropped as much as 3.0″ of snow in parts of southwest Kansas. With little to no accumulation in North Central Kansas.

As the band moves east along of border of Oklahoma the chance for light snow continues for South Central Kansas and Wichita into the afternoon. Expect light snow to slowly change over to a mix of rain and snow by the afternoon. Up to an inch of accumulation is possible in Wichita before quickly melting away.

The snow will quickly taper off from west to east throughout the afternoon.
