NCAA basketball legend makes trip to Wichita

WICHITA, Kansas — A college basketball legend is in Wichita tonight. Former Indiana, Texas Tech and Army coach Bobby Knight is here checking out the success of the Shockers.

Knight won 902 NCAA Division I men’s college basketball games and was first on the list when he retired. Since, Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim and Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski have passed him in wins.

While at Indiana, Knight had most of his success and won three national championships and made five Final Fours.

Knight showed up to Koch Arena today to watch the Shockers practice but avoided media as he walked straight to his seat. Knight is expected to be in attendance tomorrow.
